WR155R, size 520, is a rear sprocket for Yamaha WR155R using a size 520 chain-drive system. If the bike currently uses a different size, converting to 520 involves the complete front sprocket, chain and rear sprocket set, not the rear sprocket alone.
7000 aluminum in the new configuration
The sprocket is CNC-machined from Ultralumin 7000 series aluminum. Aluminum allows a sprocket design targeting lower weight than steel at the same dimensions. Increasing chain width does not itself increase engine power. The new configuration's benefits depend on riding needs, the durability of the complete set and correct alignment.
Selecting a matched size 520 set
The sprocket offers 51–55-tooth options. To retain a preferred ratio, record both current sprocket tooth counts before changing chain size. Each rear tooth-count change affects the ratio. The front sprocket, chain and rear sprocket must all be size 520, and the new rear sprocket must fit the carrier currently fitted to WR155R. When changing sprocket size, check chain length and wheel-adjuster travel.
