Rear Sprocket for Suzuki GSX R1300 Hayabusa
MREV-P-000077Rear sprocket for Suzuki GSX R1300 Hayabusa: CNC-machined Ultralumin 7000 aluminum for riders considering rear sprocket weight. Select the correct sprocket carrier and chain size. The anodized finish adds color and helps protect the surface.
The rear sprocket for Suzuki GSX R1300 Hayabusa is part of the Hayabusa chain-drive system. If replacing a worn rear sprocket, start with the tooth count and carrier type on the bike currently in use.
7000 aluminum in the rear sprocket
The sprocket is CNC-machined from Ultralumin 7000 aluminum and color-finished. Aluminum weighs less than steel at the same volume, making it an option when wheel-assembly weight matters. The sprocket teeth must still engage the correct chain. Chain care and replacing worn components together help prevent new teeth from operating with an excessively worn chain. If the chain is stretched or has stiff links, inspect the front sprocket as well before fitting a new rear sprocket.
Retain or change the tooth count?
Hayabusa rear sprocket options are 42, 43 or 44 teeth. With the front sprocket unchanged, a larger rear sprocket increases the final drive ratio. For a direct replacement, use the current rear tooth count and chain size as the reference. Compare both old sprocket faces, the carrier, bolt-hole count, center bore and model year to select the correct mounting arrangement.
