Rear Sprocket for Suzuki GSX-S1000
MREV-P-000079Rear sprocket for Suzuki GSX S1000: CNC-machined Ultralumin 7000 aluminum for riders considering rear sprocket weight. Select the correct sprocket carrier and chain size. The anodized finish adds color and helps protect the surface.
The rear sprocket for Suzuki GSX S1000 works with the bike's chain and front sprocket. Selecting the correct carrier and tooth count lets you replace a worn sprocket while retaining or deliberately changing the gearing.
Material and function
The rear sprocket is machined from Ultralumin 7000 aluminum. Aluminum is selected for its lower density than steel when sprocket weight at the wheel matters. The anodized surface provides finishing and color. The weight difference also depends on the actual sprocket's thickness and dimensions. The teeth must still match the chain size for consistent drive transmission.
Selecting tooth count for GSX S1000
Rear sprocket versions are available with 43–45 teeth. To retain the ratio, count the teeth on the existing rear sprocket. Adding rear teeth with the front unchanged increases the ratio. Before installation, compare the back face of the old sprocket with the carrier, checking bolt circle, thickness and chain-adjuster travel when changing size. The rear sprocket must align with the front sprocket so the chain does not run out of line as the wheel rotates.

Only recorded pitch, position and tooth options are shown. Final-drive changes must be evaluated against the complete front/rear setup; tooth count alone is not treated as a performance claim.
