Overview
Honda Wave/Dream (DOUBLE PLATES) is a Double Plates rear sprocket with a two-layer center design. Wave and Dream both appear in the Double Plates name, but the carrier must be checked on each bike.

Aluminum material and the two-layer design

The Double Plates sprocket uses Ultralumin 7000 aluminum. Its two-layer center is a visible feature of the rear wheel. Aluminum suits riders considering sprocket weight who also want a distinct wheel-assembly design. The two-layer center primarily defines this version's appearance. The correct tooth count, chain size and mounting face are still required for the intended drive characteristics. When comparing sprockets, consider mounting dimensions rather than choosing by color alone.

Selecting tooth count and chain size

If you are replacing a worn sprocket and are happy with how the bike rides, retain the existing rear tooth count. With the front sprocket unchanged, adding rear teeth increases the final drive ratio. The chain may need adjustment or a different length. This sprocket range offers versions from 36 to 35 teeth. Chain-size options are 420 and 428. Select the size that matches the current chain and sprocket set.

Checking the rear wheel assembly

The two-layer center is a design feature. Do not infer lower weight or greater durability without measurements. The distance from the carrier seating face to the center of the tooth ring must be correct. Matching tooth counts alone cannot resolve fitment if the chainline is incorrect.

Only recorded pitch, position and tooth options are shown. Final-drive changes must be evaluated against the complete front/rear setup; tooth count alone is not treated as a performance claim.
